Bug-O Gantry and Side Beam Units are custom designed assemblies that are used in a variety of applications such as automated seam welding, beam and stiffener fabrication as well as cutting applications such as stripping and edge preparation. A wide range of gantry and side beam carriage designs are available and can be used to suite a specific application. Systems are available in programmable or manually operated versions.

The Programmable Stiffener Welder is a self-contained, dual head welding travel carriage with integrated wire feeders and spool mounts. It will produce continuous or programmable intermittent fillet welds on stiffeners with heights of 4" to 18" (102-457mm) and widths of 4" to 12" (102-305mm). The unit is self propelled and runs directly on the stiffener. Spring loaded floating torch holders compensate and maintain torch standoff with variations of work piece fit-up. The machine can be used with solid or cored welding wire

The Modular Drive System is the only product in the industry that allows the user to configure one machine for various automated applications,now and in the future!Future development has been engineered into the system allowing its modular components to be easily upgraded. As tomorrow’s technologies are introduced, the Modular Drive System can be enhanced to take advantage of new features and capabilities as they are perfected.Other systems will be obsolete as the Modular Drive System will remain “state of the art” in portable motion control!

The GO-FER III Oxy-Fuel Kit is used for straight line cuts and weld preparation beveling. The kit comes complete withthe exception of a torch. The Bug-O Torch Holder will accept any standard 1-3/8" (35 mm) diameter machine torch witha 32 pitch gear rack. The Quick-Action Gas Manifold mounted to the rear of the machine is used as a strain reliever forthe torch and also gives the operator the ability to turn on and off the pre-heat gases without having to readjust the gasflow of the torch.

The PIPER-BUG is a self contained, digitally controlled, mechanized pipe welding system,producing high deposition rates with excellent weld quality to reduce pipe welding costs.Increased duty cycle and arc-on time provide significant improvements in productivity. All welding parameters, including voltage, wire feed speed, current, travel and oscillation are programmable and digitally controlled with the Piper-Bug.Manual pipe welding requires a high level of training and skill. As skilled pipe welders become more difficult to find, mechanized welding is an economical alternative. Less welder skill and physical effort are required using mechanized welding. Handheld wire welding results in a typical operating factor (or percent arc- on time) of 40-50%, mechanizing increases the operating factor to 70% or higher. The increased arc on time reduces the number of welders and welding stations required. Also, the precise procedure control and excellent repeatability ensures consistent weld quality around each pipe joint and from one joint to the next.

Bug-O Systems offers Rails and Attachments for a variety of applications. Each type of rail requires a correspondingcarriage and magnets or vacuum cups. Bug-O rail is lightweight and portable. When attached to thework with magnets or vacuum cups the rail can be used in any plane or position. The rail is pre-drilledfor easy installation on a fixture. Choose the appropriate rail and attachments for your application.

The UNI-BUG III will make continuous or intermittentstitch welds. The machine will mount and run directly on thework piece. The unit is available in a variety of kits. Each kitis designed to fit on a specific steel profile such as flat bar,angle, channel, I-beams and bulb flats (holland profiles).
The UNI-BUG III features stitch welding which isprogrammable by distance. If you require stitch welding simplyset the selector switch to the intermittent weld setting andprogram the length of weld required, the length of skip andalso the required delay for pre-flow and burn back. Throughthe use of an integrated weld contactor the UNI-BUG III willactivate and deactivate your wire feeder automatically.

Bug-O Systems AGS-3000 Automatic Gouging System features a high resolution voltage control, automatic feed head and our Modular Drive System travel carriage. This combination regulates an accurate gouging depth and produces a smooth finish. The Automatic Gouging System is suited for long seams and out-of-position work.The AGS-3000 is designed to be used with 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/4" (19 mm) jointed gouging electrodes up to 1600 amps.Ordinary welding machines are used as power sources for the AGS-3000 Metal Removal System.Either Constant Current (Variable Voltage) or Constant Potential (Variable Amperage) power sources can be used. The mode is interchangeable by means of a Toggle Switch in the System’s Automatic Controller.

CB-1P (CBO-1020) Plasma Circle Burner

50' (15 m) leads. The unit operates on 220/50-60/1

CW-18 Circle Welder (CWO-1800) is

designed for welding of nozzles into vessels or domed heads utilizing SUB-ARC. The CW-18 mounts on a 3-Jaw Chuck welding diameter 6" to 50" (152-1270 mm) O.D. It is capable of using welding wire diameters 3/32-7/32" (2.4- 5.6 mm)
